The gas cleaning system of a sinter plant economically removes dioxins from large gas volumes. The process may use one or multiple stages.
With injection of activated carbon in front of the filter, the adsorption process takes place only within the dust flow during the retention time between injection and separation in the electrostatic precipitator.
